Pre-ordered Harry Potter and the Cursed Child!

I have not been this excited about a new book in a long time!

This pre-order has transported me back in time. Ten years ago, I pre-ordered the 7th and final book of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Growing up, I loved pre-ordering these books and remember the anticipation and the glee when I finally arrived at Barnes and Noble and could see my book among the wall of books others had pre-ordered. Going to the store to pick up my Harry Potter books, or any Barnes and Noble trip for that matter, are some of my most favorite and strongest childhood memories. I knew that store like the back of my hand. I knew where to find my books and my dream job was working as a sales person. (I knew deep down I would be fired quickly for reading on the job, so I never applied! I did work at a library for a short time and that was probably my most enjoyable job prior to teaching! Shelving books…what a job!)

I don’t pre-order many books and I don’t spend much on books. I am a bargain hunter. I did find a bargain on this book, 40% off, but it was still more than I usually pay. But, it’s Harry Potter. This is my exception for my bargain rule.
