MINI REVIEW: The Reptile Room by Lemony Snicket

The Reptile Room by Lemony Snicket

Overall Review

I really enjoy reading this series. Lemony Snicket is so funny, yet writes in a way that am truly vested in the characters and cannot put the books down. In this story, the Baudelaire orphans finally find someone they could see themselves being happy with, Uncle Monty. He’s odd with his fascination with snakes and other reptiles, but he is kind, loving, and adventurous. I gave this book FIVE STARS because of the great writing, great character development, and great plot twists. I will say, one character that I just want to shake sometimes is Mr. Poe. He is so gullible. He is the reason for some of these unfortunate events.
