Weekly Blog Post: Tag It Thursday

How do you keep track of your TBR pile?

I use several things to keep track of my TBR pile. For physical books, I keep the books I want to read the most on my nightstand and the floor beside my bed. I use Goodreads, my Overdrive App, and Amazon to keep track of books I want to read as well.

Is your TBR mostly print or ebook?

Ebooks! I am always looking for deals on ebooks and I cannot pass up $1.99 for a book that I have been looking to read.

How do you determine which book from your TBR to read next?

A lot of differnt ways! Some of them include my mood at the time, when it is due back to the library, and the length of the book compared to how much reading time I have. Most of the time, it is random! Haha.

Book that has been on your TBR the longest?

Red Thread Sisters by Carol Antoinette Peacock.

A book that you recently added to your TBR?

Mockingbird by Kathryn Erskine.

A book on your TBR strictly because of it’s beautiful cover?

I really love the the cover of Magnus Chase by Rick Riordan! I haven’t read many Riordan books (I know, I know), but this one stands out above the rest!

A book on your TBR that you never plan on reading?

A Mike Lupica book. I know I should read one for my students, but I just have no interest.

An unpublished book on your TBR that you are excited for?

Two books come to mind: the illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Solo by Kwame Alexander and Mary Rand Hess.

A book on your TBR that everyone recommends to you?

The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznik.

A book on your TBR that eveyone has read, but you?

Two books stand out in my mind: Because of Mr. Terupt and any of the Rick Riordan books.

A book on your TBR you are dying to read?

Serafina and the Twisted Staff.

How many books are on your Goodreads TBR Shelf?

945! EEK!

I hope you enjoyed the TBR Tag and if you choose to write one, please comment! I would love to read your TBR Tag responses!

It did take me awhile to complete the tag! If you decide to do it, let me know! I use Goodreads, which isn’t the most organized but it made it easier. Good luck and thanks for reading!
