Poem #9: Inspired By A Question

National Poetry Month

Day 9: Inspired by a question

This poem idea came from Amy LV.

I started by choosing a topic to write about. I chose to write about poetry because I am insecure in my abilities to write poetry. I took on this challenge to write one a day to help me be more confident and comfortable.

After finding a topic, I listed as many questions as I could about the topic. After that, I arranged them and put them into a poem form. Enjoy!

Thoughts appreciated. Thanks for reading!

Ah, I ask these questions about poetry, too. The idea of it being a “show” is something I think about. Poetry feels intimate, but putting it on a blog makes it public and an invitation for readers and commenters.

Thank you for your feedback! I am gaining more and more confidence, but it still feels “weird” for me and I do wonder, am I really doing this?
