First Glance

This cover! I love the font, I love the cat, the silhouettes, and the colors. This book definitely grabbed my attention with the cover and the title.

The chapter headings also have a fun font and it fits the book so well. I never really paid attention to the chapter details until I began blogging, but they are small touches that really make the book.

I am about a third of the way through the book and so far, I am really enjoying it. I am a cat person, so the fact that Lizzy and Joss are making cat sweaters is awesome. I once put a sweater on my cat…he fell onto the floor and refused to move. Poor thing!

So far in the book, Lizzy has taken in Charlotte, a runaway 12 year old, and thinks she will bring her family good luck. This book is so much more than about luck. I can tell this book will have important messages about family, friends, and helping others.

I am excited to finish it and look for it on the shelves in your local bookstore on November 6!
