Don’t Check Out This Book-Blog Tour

Kate Klise and M. Sarah Klise have done it again! Their middle grade book, Don’t Check Out This Book, hit shelves in early March. I am thankful that I got my hands on a copy through my Lit Review Crew and was able to read it. Here is what I love about this book:

  • Illustrations
  • Different formats (emails, signs, interviews)
  • The power of students
  • The message of standing up for beliefs
  • The mystery
  • The dynamics of the characters
  • The names! (Hilarious)
  • The humor

I really think this book will be popular for a wide-range of readers. It has a catchy title for middle schoolers and is full of illustrations. The story is also told through multiple formats and I think that will really appeal to the younger readers. It also feels fun and light-hearted, but also has a strong theme that needs to be shared.

So, what are you waiting for? Head on over to your local bookstore or online retailer and get yourself a copy. You won’t regret it.
