Readathon: 24in48

I have decided to participate in the 24in48 challenge this year! This is a Readathon with the goal of reading for 24 hours over a 48 hour period.

The time starts at 12:01am (EST) January 27 and ends at 11:59 (EST) January 28.

This is my first year participating in this challenge and I am really excited to see how much time I spend reading this weekend. It is a perfect weekend without any plans, so I think I can read quite a bit. I know that I will encourage more reading with my daughter this weekend as well.

I know I should not set myself up for failure, but I am fairly certain that I will not read the full 24 hours, but I hope to read more than I thought I could. Plus, I have never kept track of how much time I spend reading, so it should be interesting!

I will be keeping track of my reading with my stopwatch on my phone as well as in my journal. I have my Kindle stocked up as well as several books from the library waiting for me.
